Make work easier.

I help businesses, nonprofits, independent professionals, and artists understand what’s getting in their way, then build practical systems they can use and maintain.

That might mean keeping track of inquiries and commitments, making scattered information useful, or giving a growing team a clearer way to plan and follow through.

What could
run better?

A few examples of where I can help.

Inquiries and follow-up

People are interested, but requests arrive in different places, next steps are unclear, and follow-up depends on someone remembering. You need a reliable way to track opportunities and move conversations, proposals, and decisions forward.

Who’s doing what?

A project involves several people. Responsibilities, deadlines, or decisions get lost along the way.

Information people can actually use

The answer exists somewhere. Finding it, knowing whether it’s current, and getting it to the right person are another matter.

When informal habits aren’t enough

There’s more to manage than there used to be. You need clear priorities and a way to keep things moving without personally holding every detail in your head.

Better use of tools

You’re not sure where to start, you’re paying for software that isn’t helping enough, or you’re repeating tasks that could be simpler. Maybe you’re wondering where AI could be useful. I can help you choose tools, set them up, and fit them into your day-to-day routine.

Sometimes that means a new tool. Sometimes it means making better use of what you already have.

You tell me

Something else getting in the way? These are examples, not a checklist. Tell me what’s harder than it should be, and we’ll work out a useful starting point.

Working together

A closer look at
your day-to-day.

01

Understand the work.

I listen, ask questions, and follow a project, request, or recurring task from beginning to end. We look at what’s going smoothly, where things break down, and what you and anyone working with you can realistically maintain.

02

Build a useful starting point.

From there, we agree on a useful starting point and a defined scope. The project may include clearer responsibilities, shared plans, usable documentation, or selecting and implementing tools that fit your needs.

03

Make it yours to maintain.

When the project is finished, you should understand what we’ve built, how to use it, and how to keep it running.

About Amanda

Bring
the mess.

I’m Amanda Stoddard, the person behind Good Order, an operations leader and systems builder based in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people and organizations make things run better.

I like honest conversations that help us get to the root of a problem. Good solutions have to make sense to the people who live with them.

We’ll start where you are. Bring the mess. I’ll help you get it in good order.

A little more about my experience

I can see the larger picture and follow it all the way down to the detail that’s holding everything up. From the South to the West Coast and back again, I’ve worked with small, owner-led companies and global technology organizations. I’ve personally managed $3 million in annual sales and served Fortune 500 clients. I know what it takes to earn a customer’s trust and how much has to happen behind the scenes to keep it.

Leaders trust me to figure out what’s needed and see it through. I’ve built sales, customer experience, and account management functions from scratch, including the processes, handoffs, and tracking new teams depend on. I’ve also turned scattered customer feedback into decisions product teams could act on.

I build things people can understand, use, and keep running without me.

What’s harder
than it should be?

Tell me a little about what you do and where you’re stuck. You don’t need a polished brief, and it’s okay if you don’t yet know what kind of help you need.

We’ll start with a conversation about the problem and how Good Order can help.
